I have been a stylist for about 5 years. I am Paul Mitchell trained and I’m super thankful for that because I got some rad experiences in hair school. A: -I love that I get to make people feel good about themselves. It’s the best feeling to see their faces light up at the end of their appointment.
Q: What have you learned from your clients?
A: I’ve learned that sometimes people just need someone to be a good listener. Whether it’s during the consultation or throughout the appointment, sometimes people just need to get it out! It’s a huge part of the job. And I appreciate being able to be the one they feel comfortable enough to chat with !

Q: What are the upcoming trends in hair cutting, coloring and products?
A: I think some of the trends in hairstyling are big ole braids, natural looking, but beautiful hair, and a more natural approach to hair color and products in general. Less animal testing, more natural options as far as color and products go.
Q: What should clients look for when they are shopping for a stylist?
A: Someone who listens !! Thourough consultation is key ! It is so important to both be on the same page before anything! Also, personalities are huge. Appointments should be an enjoyable and relaxing experience. Treat yo self !
Q: Where do you find inspiration?
A: I find inspiration in nature mostly. There are so many beautiful things in the world it’s rad to be able to take it all in and apply it to my craft daily. I totally nerd out on hair videos and tutorials nightly, I’m not going to lie. I love watching what other stylists are doing and learning from everyone I possibly can !
