Q: How long have you been a stylist and what are your educational bragging rights?

A:   I have been doing hair for 13 years, specializing in women's cut and color.  I was trained by a stylist who was Bumble educated so I really like to do cuts that are creative and free flowing.

Q: What do you love about your craft?

A:  I love that it is always changing.  There are always new techniques and things to learn and it keeps me inspired.

Q: What have you learned from your clients?

A:  I have learned that service providers in our industry really do make a difference. It means everything when you make someones day, that might have been having a struggle or going through something hard.  To know that someone really appreciates you as much as you do them is a good feeling :)

Q: What do you specialize in?

A:  I love to do natural balayage, and lived in looks. And reds are some of my favorite things to do :)

Q: What are the upcoming trends in hair cutting, coloring, and products?

A: â€‹I think some of the upcoming trends will be 90's inspired looks, blunt bangs, and curly shags.  I also think copper tones, as well as more solid blondes will be popular.

Q: What should clients look for when they are shopping for a stylist?

A: I think clients should look for someone they feel comfortable with first and foremost. Someone they feel understands their needs and is able to deliver the type of experience they are looking for.

Q: Where do you find inspiration?

A: I find the most inspiration through history.  Looking at old magazines or pictures and seeing the trends of the time.  Everyhing always comes back around.

Q: What charitable organizations do you feel passionate about?

A: The Autism Society is an organization I feel passionate about. As a parent to a child with Autism, I know how important it is to get the necessary  education and services early in order make an impact on the future success of these children, and getting people the help they need.

Q: How do you spend your time when not knee deep into your craft?

A:  I love working out and getting outside and being active.  I'm also a bit of a crystal nerd and I make crystal jewelry and art.

Q: Why are professional hair care products important?

A:  Quality products are key, because your hair is an investment.  You need to be using good products to protect and maintain the color you got, and to keep your hair in good health so you can continue to color it in the future. It ends up costing more when poor quality products are used, that strip color and damage hair.

Q: What is your favorite shade of lipstick?

A:  Fire engine red.  I don't wear it nearly as much as I used to, but it's still my favorite!
